Registration can be completed in-person or online through our website. To register online, you will need to first sign up for an online account.  From the main Workshop page, click on the workshop you are interested in registering for. Once you are on the workshop description page, you can click the 'Register' button on the right side of your screen. For all subcription tiers except Organizations, your name and contact information will automatically be filled out.  Payment can be made by credit card or any card accepted by Square. 

You can create an account by hitting the ‘Register now’ button on the top right corner of your screen. Then follow instructions and fill in the correct information. Finally, select your subcription type and submit.

No, unless otherwise posted. Please make your own childcare arrangements. Topics and discussions may not be suitable for children and we are unable to provide child care or accommodate them otherwise.

Unless otherwise posted, all attendees are eligible to receive a certificate as long as they attend a minimum of half of the workshop / course and upon the completion of a survey at the end. Participants attending online training are expected to participate via polls and in discussions, a failure to do so may result in being ineligible to receive a certificate.
 

No, training sessions offered by the CCRR are non-credit and cannot be applied towards the completion of any certificates, diplomas, or degrees.

Waitlist information is listed on each workshop's registration page. As spaces open up, CCRR staff will invite waitlisted registrants to register for a workshop in the order that they applied. Waitlisted participants have 24 hours to register for the workshop before the spot is offered to the next person on the list. 

This is dependent on space availability and entirely up to staff discretion. Registration for same-day online workshops is generally discouraged due to limited administrative time to send out any reading materials and workshop links.

As per our Refund and Cancellation Policy, no monies will be refunded or credits offered for cancellations within 5 business days before the workshop/course starts or no-shows, and you will not be eligible to receive a certificate.

Workshops and Training courses after September 2021 can be accessed through your CCRR account dashboard. Just log in and visit your workshops dashboard and either click on "View All Certificates" or find the specific workshop in your Past Workshops listing and click on the specific workshop to view and download your certificate.

For workshops and training completed before September 2021, or for printing requests, there is a $10 administrative fee to retrieve a lost certificate up to 2 years from the training date. Contact us at childcare@rcrg.org

Parking is available in a variety of locations around the CCRR and Richmond Caring Place.

• Paid parking is available in the Richmond Caring Place lot (entrance off of Minoru Blvd) or in the City of Richmond parking lot (entrance off of Granville Ave).
• Free parking is available evenings after 4pm and weekends in the parking lot entering from Granville Ave.
• Two 30-min free parking spaces can be found in the Richmond Caring Place lot for quick visits – please register your vehicle at the Caring Place front desk.
• Additional street parking can be found along Minoru Blvd (with restrictions) or in the auxiliary parking lot of Richmond Secondary School.
