Inclusion Materials: Resources are for Everyone
Susan Garcia Wong
9:30am - 11:30am
Date: Dec 7, 2024 | Time: 9:30am - 11:30am
Join us in a workshop that will help you better understand how to support the rights off all children regardless of their diverse abilities. The workshop will provide you with strategies and suggestions on how to promote inclusion in your centre so that everyone can be included. We will look how to use the resources found in our inclusion kits, resources you could consider bringing in to your centre, as well as other materials from the CCRR library.
Participants will come away with a better understanding of how resources can be used for children of all abilities, and how we can make our spaces more inclusive for everyone. Participants will be treated to a light breakfast and have the ability to interact with a variety of example resources as well as partake in open dialoge. Participants will receive a list of all the resources we recommend exploring as well as the chance to win some inclusion resource doorprises. Additionally, there are a limited supply of mini Inclusion Kits ($200 value) for use at your centre -- please see below for details.
This workshop is an updated version of our 2023 CCRR Inclusion Resources Grant.
